The importance of COMMUNITY

The media would like you to think that people don't want to buy a house, and you know, there may be some truth in that...people don't want to buy a house they want to buy a HOME. That's different.

I think that the changes that are occuring in the house market are actually a withdrawal from the traditional subburbs and a trend towards COMMUNITIES. And that is a good thing! We needed to make this paradigm shift. It's healthier for all of us and healthier for our planet!

When you build communities you build stability, you build happiness, you build relationships- and you build a healtier world. When you build subdivisions out in the suburbs you contribute to traffic, disconnected neighbors, depression, the wasting of resources and a disjointed world.

Harbor Town is a great example of what can be done with the proper planning. Here, we all know each other. We get together, we stay in touch and we care for each other. That is true COMMUNITY. And I am here to tell you AND the media- I am busy- and there is absolutley NOTHING wrong with our housing market!!
